PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Bank tellers universally struggle with limited tabletop room and tight workspaces. Burroughs Payment Systems is looking to make their work conditions less cluttered, more productive and ergonomically friendly with the introduction of its new ReceiptNow printer for teller scanners – the company announced today.
Burroughs’ new ReceiptNOW thermal printer with full or partial paper cutter adapts to fit its SmartSource scanners and most competitive desk-top scanners sitting underneath the scanner, preventing the need for additional printer space. It quickly delivers clear and crisp receipts while eliminating clutter from tight teller counters with its 6”-wide footprint. Features include a large, accessible bin to store and hide extra roll paper, scanner consumables, proof tickets and other items that typically clutter a teller’s workspace.
In the development of the ReceiptNow printer, Burroughs placed a high premium on “ergonomics.” Receipts are delivered quietly, less than an inch from the scanner documents, consolidating all paper handling and operator activity to the smallest, most efficient space. ReceiptNOW provides the largest paper roll in its class with the industry’s easiest instant drop and close loading, minimizing loading time, according to the company. Standard thermal paper, tamper-proof security paper, two-color printing, as well as ‘Green’ Non-BPA paper are available according to customer preference.
ReceiptNOW also provides unlimited customized receipts -- allowing logos, watermarks, border messages and graphics to be added. This can include promotion messages, reminders and courtesies to the bank’s customer base.
Universal operation includes USB and Ethernet interfaces, International power compatibility, worldwide safety certifications, three-year warranty and an Advanced Exchange service option. SmartSource ReceiptNOW brochure
